Welcome to the Global Tradewinds International UK online service. By placing an order using this service you are accepting these Terms & Conditions. Please read these Terms & Conditions before placing an order.

"We" and "us" means Global Tradewinds International UK and is a trading name that we use.

"You" means the person placing an order.

"The contract is agreed" - by completing and submitting an electronic order form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. An acceptance email from us confirms that the contract is formed.

"Working days" means all days other than Saturdays, Sundays and English statutory and public holidays.

By using the website to buy goods online, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or, if you are under 18, that you are accessing the website with the consent of your parent or guardian. We do not sell goods to children online, but we do sell children's goods for purchase by people over 18.

Ordering, cancelling before despatch and returning after despatch.

Ordering
Please see our ordering online is easy guide for instructions on placing an order. By completing and submitting an electronic order form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Please note orders will only be despatched once we have authorisation from your payment card issuer. We will not be liable if there is a delay, and we will not accept your order if payment is not authorised. Certain steps must be followed for a contract to be formed, as described below.

After you have placed your order
We will send you, as soon as possible, an email to acknowledge your order. It will confirm which goods you have ordered. This email is not an order acceptance from us.  When we despatch your goods from the warehouse, we will send you a confirmation email. This means we formally accept the order, and are obliged to complete the contract. 

We do not have to accept your order, and for example, we will not accept your order if: we do not have the goods in stock  your payment is not authorised  there is an error on our website regarding the price or other details of the goods you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions below We reserve the right to refuse any order.

Cancelling an order before despatch
If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel it at any time before we despatch it. Please see the Contact us page for our e-mail /fax number. You will need to give us your name and address details, as well as your order number to cancel your order.

Delivery Time
Please allow 7-21 days delivery time.

Delivery Methods
We will be using the standard Royal Mail services within the UK. We can also arrange special deliveries for bulk orders at reasonable delivery cost.

PRODUCT RETURNS

Cooling off period
When you order from us online, you are entitled to a cooling off period after despatch, when you can return your goods without any penalty. Our cooling off period is 30 days, which includes any statutory cooling off period.

This period starts the day the contract is agreed (i.e. you receive an email from us saying we have despatched your order) and ends 30 days after the day following delivery of the goods.

Returning goods
Please refer to our CONTACT US for details of how and where to return goods.

If you wish to return goods you have a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until you return them. Please e-mail/ fax us if you would like to return your order, and we will send you pre-paid labels so that you can return them for free. Goods must be returned in their original condition, including immediate packaging, within the cooling off period.

Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. For further information on your statutory rights look at www.consumerdirect.gov.uk.

Product availability
Our website shows goods available for purchase in the UK, including Northern Ireland and Eire, however if required we can ship overseas under special shipment conditions.

Pricing and payment
Prices throughout the website are quoted in Pounds Sterling. Should you wish to pay in other currencies, please contact us and we will help make necessary arrangements so that you can pay in a Pounds Sterling.

While we make every effort to ensure that the goods shown on our website are currently available at the price shown, we cannot guarantee that this will always be the case. If goods you have ordered are unavailable, you will be notified as soon as possible.

The price you pay is the price of the goods shown at the time you place your order, even if the price of the goods has since changed.

Your payment card will be debited for your order on the day that you order your goods.

Where an offer mentions that an item is reduced in price, eg: half-price, the discount will be calculated at checkout before any postage or packaging charges are applied.

Returned items will be refunded at the discounted price paid. If one item is returned under our gift and refund policy the other must also be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.  Terms and conditions strictly apply.

REFUND POLICY

Faulty Items
The procedures, set out here, to return goods do not affect your statutory rights. Further information on your statutory rights can be found at www.consumerdirect.gov.uk. If you do receive faulty goods, please follow one of the procedures outlined on the How to return items page.

Exclusions
Please note certain goods cannot be returned unless we are at fault. These are personalised or engraved items and pierced jewellery.
